Back during the 1990′s an idea of an adventure was born in the mind of Jaime D. Buckley. An adventure which would span the length of a career. Well, at least that was the plan anyway.
Without the means or connections to publish the comic idea in the traditional fashion, Jaime Buckley looked to the internet. Making the comic with pen and ink, he then scanned all pages and created a high quality digital issue, to be sold for pennies online. An “eComic” which would be given to children and encouraged to share, print out, forward links and enjoy–all for only .97 cents an issue.
Started in 2005, WANTED:HERO had a total of 2 sales it’s first month.
By the end of 2005, the website reported over 750,000 visitors and readers in 60 countries.
In 2007, Jaime Buckley loss the use of his hands, due to damage from a previous a car accident. Though the story is now being written in novel form, WANTED:HERO and the characters contained therein still continue to find new readers across the internet and around the globe.
