GREEN & HUEY: Big Laughs…small packages.

With a background yet unclear in the WANTED:HERO adventure, the gnome known as Green and his enchanted lute sidekick ‘Huey‘ seem to be known far and wide.

Known, and in may instances…feared.

Not due to danger so much as the constant annoyance–especially from Huey, who can’t seem to keep his strings still.

Drawn to the power of the ‘Hero Gem’, Huey seeks it’s own fame and fortune by creating songs of drama and adventure about Wendell P. Dipmier and his quest as the Hero of all creation. Yet on the flip side, poor Green is a sweet, kind, loyal coward who loves and supports his friends, while constantly apologizing for the inappropriate behavior of his lute.

One thing is for certain—the laughs are always abundant when Green and Huey are around.

My dad got me some of the comics from wanted hero and I really liked them. The gitar huey was really funny—and I liked how green got scarred and hit the robe guy.

My dad said it was bad anyway and not a real person, so it should be smashed, because it wanted to hurt Wendel.

Green is really funny and I hope there is more of him with dax too.

Fantastic to hear from you! I’m stoked the second WANTED:HERO novel is on its way, and that you’re hunting for a replacement artist (must be a bittersweet job) to keep on with the wonderful adventures of Wendell, Dax and that good-looking fellow with the colourful name! Hopefully, one day, you’ll be ready to slip back into that artist’s chair yourself (there’s fingers crossed in Oz, and I know, in many, many other places).
Things are good in Oz. I’m on the road a lot in the next six months, touring schools. Tough to leave the daughter and kitties, but shows pay the bills.
I checked your site and was as ever impressed! Thanks for the plug! And for the offer of an advert in the book. I’ll happily take it, as long as you accept my return offer! I can offer you free ad space too! In a few months, I’m actually going to be re-releasing the first Erasmus book (the one you & the family loved) as a free e-book with an all-new design (and even the story slightly improved). I figured it can’t hurt to get some new fans, and I’d love the world to hear about it. So you can get an ad in there AND in the second Erasmus book which I’m almost at typesetting stage with (advance copies hopefully in June and in Oz bookstores August). You’re on the mailing list!
Best wishes to you and all the family,

    GREEN (aka DC Green)
