We have to tip our hats here at the Gnome Resistance Revolutionaries (G.R.R.) when it comes to the Buckley family, especially after their latest challenge: moving from a modest home to a 3 room apartment with a family of 13.
That’s right, after the hit of the economy and losing his job, the creator of Wanted Hero, Jaime Buckley, lost his home to the bank and had no prospects for another home. Not many people will rent to a large family, so he couldn’t secure a new place to live! Yet a good friend came to their rescue and offered their basement, so the Buckley’s didn’t end up under a freeway on planet Earth. Shows true Gnome spirit…
So Jaime moved his family in, condensing all they could, putting his seven daughters into one room (from age 17 to age 1) and his three sons (age 16, 12 & 3) into a room which they also share with their grandfather (whom they care for).
Word is, they couldn’t be happier, knowing they are all warm, safe and together, and though Jaime continues to look for work–he has contacted the G.R,R, directly with a commitment to increase his efforts on the WH Novel development.
We have had requests for information on how to assist the Buckley’s in their time of need and transition.
