Gnomes: Deborah Harper

One of the most famous Gnomes of the G.R.R. is Dr. Deborah Harper: cutting edge scientist, dedicated mother & loving widow to famous N.E.R.D.S.  Captain (National Environmental Recon Division Services), Ernie Harper.

From early childhood, Deborah had a brilliant mind, with aptitude at solving the most complex mathematical equations. Her hunger from knowledge and desire to help those in the lower slums of Clockworks City led to her recruitment to the G.R.R. by Motherboard himself. Within weeks, her skills had her promoted to work along side the crippled computer prodigy Nathan Taylor, and assisting in the overall movement and growth of the G.R.R..

Deborah is known for her passion and outright stubbornness, holding her ground even under extreme odds and even on the face of life threatening danger, which has gained her the trust of all agents within the underground network. Specializing in psychological-realm dynamics, Deborah has helped develop some of the most advanced procedures to assist in breaking habits, dependency on chemicals, mental trauma and more. Motherboard takes great lengths and resources to protect her developments from the prying eyes and hands of the Government Faction of Clockworks and the ‘self-elected’ six term President, Potifer Shrub.

Deborah Harper is best known by the general populace as the founder of psychjourneypodcast.com, a site where she interviews the brightest minds in the field and creates podcasts for others to learn from. She covers thousands of topics and her guests are famous even from planet Earth. She runs many divisions of the G.R.R. under the direction of Motherboard, with the assistance of her daughter and fellow prodigy scientist, Rachael Harper. Deborah was key to saving Wendell P. Dipmier’s life and freeing him from the mental hold of the evil Maser Mahan.

DID YOU KNOW?
The character Deborah Harper was originally named “Cynthia Brambon”, but the name just didn’t fit the developed personality. It wasn’t until a friendship was developed between Jaime D. Buckley and Deborah Harper from San Jose, California, that the characters name was changed and the personality finely tuned to mirror what Jaime admired most in the new friendship. Deborah immediately gained Jaime’s respect and has become one of his closest friends since 2004 when they had their first conversation over the phone (about the first Wanted Hero eComic), even though, to this day, they have yet to meet in person! Deborah has become a favorite ‘mother figure’ in the eComic, and a favorite among children.

Deborah Harper was also the very first person to purchase a Wanted Hero eComic!
