The sweet smell of Shannon…

Evan picks me up a few hours ago and took me out to an early breakfast at Denny’s before school and as we sit down, he smirks. I don’t think a lot about it until we got to school and Shannon sees us, runs up…AND KISSED ME ON THE CHEEK!!

No joke! The girl of my high school dreams came up and kissed me without having to be paid. I was surprised my knees held out!! The scent of honey and vanilla filled my mind as her hair blew into my face and I thought I was going to pass out from a heart attack.

She smiled at me, those huge brown eyes melting my heart, as she said ‘thank you’ for the poem and the song!? I was, stunned.
Shannon asked me and Evan to come sit with her at lunch time.

I was on cloud nine! Evan laughed and told me Jillian and Katie (Shannon’s best friends) had actually seen me do those things for Shannon, and were disgusted Bradley Donavan took the credit and used Shannon’s emotions to get her on a date. Now, they don’t like me at all, but they adore Evan. So when he overheard them standing in the courtyard of the common area during lunch, complaining about Bradley, he prodded them into a confession. He alo promised to take them both out to the movies if they would just tell Shannon the truth.

They did and guess what? Shannon was actually touched at my efforts, my detention rap…and even worried when she found out I was whooped by David and his goons beforeĀ  the Winter Social!

Man, does the Universe have a way of bringing things around full circle or what?!!

…oh man, does that Shannon smell nice…..wow.
