It was a typical Monday for me, especially in school. I made all my classes, though half of them tardy. Not because I want to be, but because I get side tracked by someone itching to slug me one. Must have ‘beat me up’ tattooed somewhere on my body that i just can’t see, but I live with it. Today, however, i daresay it was worth it.
Bradley has been trying to get back with Shannon all weekend, and apparently her friends decided to let him in on their little secret of blowing the whistle. Now, as much of a dirt bag I might think he is, he’s no female beater (good for him). So, he turned his frustration on me. I got cornered at the end of the locker hall on my way to history class and was slammed into the ugly blue containers by Aaron, Bradley’s big dork of a whale.
Why do jocks always try to sound so intimidating? Don’t they realize they really do sound like a stupid B movie that’s been forgotten for the past decade?!? The stance, the attitude and the ‘you better be fearin me man!’ stare. Well, this time I couldn’t help myself…I started giggling.
Ok, bad move on my side. Aaron hits hard, knocked the wind out of me…but worse than that, Bradley likes to hit in the face.
Jerk broke my nose…again.
Decided to get off my but and start learning how to take care of myself in these situations. ‘School of Hard Knocks’….looked like my life, so I got.
