The G.R.R. stands for Gnome Resistance Revolutionaries, the third and most elusive faction of the Tri-Government of Clockworks City. Founded and run by the notorious inventor and technological guru, Motherboard, the G.R.R. is an establishment that fights for the people and uses various tactics to combat the abuse of the other two powers: the Political Party and the Religious Party. These two opposing powers use everyday problems and beliefs of the Gnome populace to extract money & obedience from its people. Though solid proof has yet to be uncovered, agents for the G.R.R. continue to report hints that the two dominant factions are in league to enslave the entire populace by economically ruining Clockworks City, while controlling the food supplies and children education centers.
The general population continue to ignore these warnings, saying the claims are too wild to believe.
The G.R.R. is completely funded by research projects and profits from the private sector, especially from the I.R.S. (Internet Resource Services), which was founded by G.R.R. advocate, Philburt Bellows.
The Political and Religious Factions know about the acts of the G.R.R. and though they may not have the locations of each and every ‘cell’ of the organization, public “centers” of the G.R.R. are known to many. Due to the strict laws of Clockworks City, these G.R.R. centers pay full taxes, support 
charities and distribute resources to the poor. It’s own inventions have, in fact, been one of the key factors to the improvement of life within the deepest Districts of Clockworks City. Hence, the G.R.R. is seen as a ‘profit making organization’, even for the Political and Religious Parties, who by law are able to collect taxes, tariffs and ‘mandatory religious tithes’.
