Current Projects

Books are only the beginning. We also create audio books and games based on the story…

installments3DInstallments

Get the next part of the story every 60 days or less! When readers started asking for more of the story, but “faster”…the author decided to try a new approach. Similar to what he did in his comic book days, Jaime began focusing on feeding his fans by “Printing Fast and Printing Often”.

His best friend suggested taking the manuscript of Race to Til-Thorin, the second book in the main Chronicles of a Hero series, and breaking it up into “Installments“.

Wanted Hero soon became available in eBook format as soon as each Installment was completed. Full ISBN#’s and 50 pages or more in length (part 5 was 178 pgs), the idea caught on. When the book is complete–it is created as a whole publication…as well as a paperback version with full illustrations.

Höbin Luckyfeller’s Fieldguides

The acceptance and popularity of the famous Gnome FISHIS from Clockworks City was…unexpected. These stories were originally intended only as fillers.

There’s so much history to be told and used in the main storyline, we didn’t want any of it to go to waste. However, we also didn’t want it to be boring. So we asked Höbin Luckyfeller to take on the job. We are so happy he accepted! Every aspect of this world will be told in their historical perspective…with a dash of adventure, humor and gnome-sarcasm.

Höbin’s first work was Demoni Vankil, published in 2011. He is currently working on a new field guide, Blood Sticks (expected by Spring 2013). His field work has also been helpful in setting up the background for the WHAT IF series of books (see below).

WHAT IF

Like choosing your own path through a story? Would you like to be the hero in the ancient lands of Wanted Hero…at the height of the Dark Lord’s invasion plan? Soon to be released as a phone app for iOS and Android, the WHAT IF series will take you back in time and place the fate of the characters in your hands.

These are not stories for the faint of heart. The first book, Cross Point deals with a troubling kidnapping…followed by multiple murders. Packed with humans, Kutollum (dwarves) and Evolu (elves), you play one of thee main characters who has an opportunity to make a real difference.

One of the fun aspects of this series, is they are just that–a series. If you successfully survive or thrive in this dangerous environment…there’s a whole world out there waiting for you!

RTTT-3D-box150Race to Til-Thorin Card Game

Our first game, created by a Wanted Hero fan!

No joke.

A reader from the UK coordinated with the author in developing a fantastic card game, to be released by spring 2013. Play one of the main characters of the storyline, including Wendell…and engage in battle, quests and more.

Original art and card designs done by Jaime Buckley, this is a game you won’t want to miss! Sign up for the FREE Newsletter to find out when a Kickstarter campaign will start, so you can get a part of history. Rewards will include a possibility of having a character being named after you

TRENCH WARS

Clockworks City. Gnome Pilots. Giant robot S.L.A.G.s with cutting-edge steam-powered technology and serious rust spots. Guns. Lasers. Explosions. Billions of credits being waged at every event by screaming fans. More than 500,000,000 at-home gnome viewers.

…winner takes all.

Created and developed by Evan Buckley, this game is based around Burton and Ernie Trench and their arena event by the same name.

The first version was play tested on a college campus and it caused a slight upset. Observers wanted to join in and play…even though the board was nothing more than pressed wood and pencil marks. The next, fully developed prototypes captured the attention of professional game designers.

Still in development, Trench Wars allows you to play a Gnome pilot in the popular reality Trench War competition, engaging in multiple variations of combat. The characters and storylines of this exciting interactive strategy game are based on the actual events and characters of the main Wanted Hero series: Chronicles of a Hero.

SOUNDTRACKS

Lastly, we’ve had an interest in developing music based projects for Wanted Hero. Unfortunately, we have yet to find the right talent for such a feat.

…but we’re looking.

Wendell plays the piano quite passionately…and the Gnomes have a powerful addiction to techno music. The idea is to release theme-based/novel-based albums to the public. We’d like to work with talented individuals yet unknown, to build popularity together.

We are specifically looking for piano composers and individuals with audio mixing talents, who would like to talk about working with us on such projects.

Jaime Buckley can be contacted through this site, or directly through jaimebuckley(at)wantedhero(dot)com.
