buttonWhen do you know you should pursue something of worth? When it’s the first thing you think of in the morning and the last thing you think of at night.  When it invades your mind, fills your heart with excitement and ignites your soul with a burning desire to share it with the rest of the world.

That’s when you know you have a foundation to start from. When you have such a foundation, you will succeed…so long as you give it enough time.” –Jaime Buckley

Born in 1969 in Oakland California, Jaime Buckley always knew he wanted to be a cartoonist and share stories with others. As he got older, got married and had children of his own, that desire flourished into a passion for the human soul. To work with youth, especially those left behind by an unfeeling society, and challenge their potential. To help them understand that anything was possible, even against seemingly unbeatable odds.

Jaime was blessed to find and marry his best friend and soul mate Kathilynn Tupa’i, and together have been married for nearly 20 years and have 11 beautiful children. For nearly three years Jaime worked solo in producing his comic books, putting in regular 12-16 hour days, six days a week. This eventually re-damaged his hands, which had required surgery to function in the first place.  It was another three years before Jaime’s daughters encouraged him to rededicate himself to Wanted Hero…in written novel form.

However, in 2009 the Buckley’s hit another road block and lost their home to the bank. The very house Kathilynn had grown up in since she was three. With little options having such a large family (and also caring for Kathilynn’s father), they now reside in a small basement apartment where they work together happily…and Jaime labors to fulfill the family dream of nearly two decades.

simon_daddyJAIME BUCKLEY: Creator, Artist, Writer, Gnomefriend, Podcaster, Promoter, Father of 10 (soon to be 12) & Chore Hitler.

Jaime has been an “professional” artist for over 25 years, which started in shopping malls in California, where he would do caricatures of young couples and then sell them for $4 each. That is, until he got caught without a license.

The drawing started vigorously at age 2…and never stopped. At age 15, he created a comic strip character ‘Chester’, which became two self-published works, selling more than 25,000 copies each (Chester: The End of Life as We Know It & Chester: Love Me or Leave Me, Just Hand Me The Remote). Many copies were donated to libraries…but they kept getting stolen.  Until recently, Jaime’s writing career was limited to training manuscripts, advertisements, manuals and newsletters.  During ‘06-’08 he averaged at least 5 unique articles a week, as well as podcasts to train more than 4200 professionals across the country every Monday morning in the financial field…that was, until he could do something actually important.

It has been very difficult to gain the trust of the various races he has interviewed over the years, and has stated repeatedly that these works would have been impossible to translate without the extensive accomplishments and compilations of his dear friend Hobin Luckyfeller.  Jaime’s full focus is now on completing the full detailed manuscripts of the adventures of Wendell P. Dipmier and the Heroes of the Nexus.  He also asks for any news on the whereabouts of Hobin Luckyfeller, who did not return from his last scouting trip to find the Nimbarin Ice Gators.

Kathilynn Buckley: Family Vice President, Editor, Babe, Child Psychologist, Reluctant Plumber, Taskmaster, School Teacher, Singer, Mediator, Scientist, Master Chef, Economist…and all around amazing mother of 10 (soon to be 12).

Born in Suva Fiji, Kathi is the heart and soul of the family and the unending inspiration for her husband, Jaime.  To be specific, he worships the water she walks on…and this will only remain online, because she lacks the technical computer skills to stop us.  Her skills are many and far reaching, especially her editorial and writing skills, which come into play when she engages her points of view as a mother, teacher & instructor.

Her denial of having writing skills didn’t stop her from creating the top 2 scripts for the Chuck & Dax animation shorts.  She doesn’t want credit, but again, she can’t stop us from bragging about her. Unfortunately, she can hound us for speling errors.

Cesilea Buckley (A.K.A. ‘Ditto’): Podcast Writer, Musician, Composer, Professional Debater (even when we ask her not to), Defender of the Underdog (whether they’re right or wrong), Mom’s Right Arm, Avid Reader & Extreme Literary Critic.

Ditto first became known online in ‘Rappin’ it Up with Ditto and Cosmo, exclusive interviewer of characters from WANTED:HERO. She received fan mail within 8 hours of her first podcast, which exceeded the total emails received by her father during the previous year and a half (which really ticked him off). Her focus and determination are only exceeded by her passion for improvement and service to and love of children. If her parents said she had any negative trait, it would be that she’s too smart for her own good =).

Cesilea has been an essential part in the development of ‘BloodSticks‘–an actual game played within the world of WANTED:HERO & the public Library circuts.  She also wants to co-write “Chucks Cooking for Kids“; a cook book for children, with unique interaction with parents–giving the background, activities and drama of how these unusual recipe’s came about (stories told by Chuck himself). She’s still debating with her father on this project…even though we have asked her not to.
