The Tavern Ledger in Wanted Hero

The Roadkill Tavern keeps a ledger of everyone who has ever pulled up a chair and helped keep the fire lit.
These are the first names written in it.

They gave their time. They gave their belief. A few of them put the very tools in my hands that built these books, and they did it early, back when there was nothing to show but a promise and a good deal of stubbornness.
Their names are written here, and here they stay. Once you've kept the fire, you've kept it.

Thank you, all of you. For the help, and for showing up first.
When a book is compiled while your name is in this ledger, your name goes to print with it. More chairs are always being pulled up to this table.
