WorldEmber is one of the biggest worldbuilding events of the year, and it's approaching fast! Next month, in December, we'll challenge you to write 10k word of worldbuilding (or more) to take your world in new unexplored directions—and if you make it, you get a badge. But if you want to be ready for such an undertaking, you better prepare in advance! And this is exactly what we're doing this month.
You will set a goal, think about how you'll get there, and play the Prep Bingo. And once you're done, you'll get your Homework Squad Badge, proving that you're ready to face December's worldbuilding marathon!
First time doing WorldEmber? Check this page to learn more about it!
The most important step when preparing to achieve a goal is knowing what the goal is! It would be really difficult to complete a marathon without knowing where you're supposed to run towards. So that's what this step is about: deciding what your end goal is. Here's how to do it:
Below you have a bingo board with your homework assignments! Here's how to use it:
The assignments are shuffled every time you refresh this page! Save the bingo card locally so you don't lose it.
To save the card as PDF, click the menu at the bottom right of the bingo frame, and select "Print". Select Print to PDF and save it to your computer.
Top Tip! You can also take a screenshot, or convert the pdf into an image, and upload to World Anvil as a map! Add pins and embed into your homework article to share your bingo progress. This guide will show you how.
Submit your homework by November 28th to claim your Homework Squad badge! Here's how:

Once your article is submitted, you will see it appear in the list below! The Homework Squad badge will be awarded after WorldEmber Prep ends, and will appear in your World Anvil user profile.
